The Tourist Office of Castelrenaudais is also a place of animations, events, and temporary exhibitions.
In 2021, the Tourist Office welcomed the art of Christilla Roze, well known for her realizations making the beautiful part to the architectural and human heritage as: the Place Plumereau but also the emblematic photographs of the 16 communes of Castelrenaudais by Didier RONFLARD. To close the season, the exhibition “Hauts les Clochers” of the Country of Art and History as well as a partnership with the company of Villedômer Goujon was presented to the public.
For two months, the Tourist Office welcomed the art of Christilla Roze, a Monthodon resident, well known for her works of art which highlight the architectural and human heritage such as the Place Plumereau, François 1er, and Amboise castle.
The different communes of the Castelrenaudais which shape our Touraine Verte have been highlighted through the eyes of the photographer Didier Ronflard, giving us another way of understanding the richness of the territory.
To close the tourist season, an exhibition on the theme of “bell towers’ in Castelrenaudais was offered to visitors.
The exhibition was curated around two axes: first of all, a documentary and photographic exhibition provided by the Pays Loire Touraine - "Haut les clochers" (High Steeples) which aimed at presenting the steeples in their various forms and materials, without forgetting the bells, without which the steeples would not exist.
Then, to discover the art and architecture of bell towers, the Gougeon Company, based in Villedômer, installed some creations such as a clock mechanism, a bell, and a lightning rooster.
This family and artisanal company has specialized in bells, clocks, dials,lightning rods, roosters and weathervanes for more than 35 years in the Castelrenaudais.
