The wooded park located to the north and immediately outside the castle walls was created at the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries.
Throughout the 19th century and until the beginning of the 20th century, the park was structured into numerous small winding paths and planted with rare species: tulip trees, red chestnut trees, Siberian elms, larches, Atlas cedars, Corsican pines, Byzantine hazel trees, etc., the majority of which still stand today. The two Atlas cedars planted outside the park, south of the large courtyard, are monumental witnesses to this period.
