The mill of Vasrole is located at the crossroads of the Brenne and the road of Saint Jacques de Compostelle, (GR 655), on the commune of Villedômer.
If for four centuries, the mill has not ceased to be modernized, it is the image of the 19th that it has kept. The Zuppinger type valve wheel, 6m in diameter and 2m wide, is visible from the road. The wooden cladding is covered with a flour paint.
The mill had its own bakery equipped with a bread oven. It was a gold medal winner in Tours and Le Mans in 1881. It works perfectly.
This industrial heritage in the process of extinction takes in our eyes all its importance.
